I find it funny that so many are bashing this article, it makes me wonder if anyone actually read it. If you had read the full article you'd see that we was highly objective about his results, yes he had a few moronic statements sprinkled in here and there. But he was very clear on the fact of optimized software, and so forth that could be leading the discrepency in scores. Furthermore he used 2 different Hard Drive's for the test, similar spec's or not, unless its an identical Hard Drive I'll take anything from this with a grain of salt. I can definately say from my past experience with running a Hackintosh for a while that OSX and Mac Native app's can run incredibably fast in comparison to Window's version's. This shows only 1 thing that we've all known for a long time and thats the fact that Window's app's are highly bloated in comparison to Mac (unix)/open sourced software. Now please read that last statement realzing I hate Linux with a passion! But I also will admit that Linux and other OS's/Software can and do run tremendously better than Windows based software.

Interesting. But If Apple ever wants their OS to truely progress, they are going have to make it work on good(non-Mac) hardware.
