The article is stupid...
__________________This is what it says "Windows 7 may test Apple's winning streak" ------------------------------------------ Vista sucked, and made alot of people go mac due to the bad press. Windows 7 doesn't suck, so less people may go mac. But with the marketing for Windows 7, more people may buy computers so more people may buy new mac's. PC's are cheaper than mac's, but mac's margin's are estimated to be 2x of what pc's are. More at 11'.

I was under the impression that vista sucked so people stuck to XP
instead of upgrading.

... Pretty much nothing new in here.
"Windows 7 may test Apple's winning streak" ... (and may not). Wow. Brilliant.

Yeah, this is highly aimed at investment type people, not computer enthusiasts... I get the feeling its saying buy MS stock RTFN.

Reading the article puts MS in a positive perspective with Mac, but someone needs to tape Peter Svennson's mouth shut. What an idiot. For people who are using Vista it is a simple upgrade, and will free up a lot of system resources. For those with XP it might be a little more, just simply backing up files, something MS recomends with any upgrade. Now if you have a computer that is so old it barely runs XP, then yea, get a new PC. When is MS going to get off their lazy slack @@s and start marketing W7 so people know what it is and how it is going to benefit them. And MS needs to start targeting Vista users like Apple does. Make it a little easier to get the upgrade.

Hmm, some winning streak. Being in the bottom third of market share is a HUGE victory. Even if they pulled all the way up to a full 30%!.... it's still bottom third.
