cool software but my proc doesn't support it so all virtualization does is prevent viruses and malware from accessing your computer?

Can you easily save downloads from the XP mode browser into your 7 documents? If so would this negate the protection?

And older office programs to work, along with older hardware (printers, etc) that don't support vista/w7 but Windows XP
