Exactly. I'm sick of seeing everyone around me all hysterical over some flu that has only killed people with underlying conditions.

Exactly. Everyone is like "Oh man, this swine flu thing is scary" and I just want to slap them in the back of the head. There is no major difference between the swine flu and regular flu. I've never gotten a regular flu shot in my adult life and don't plan on getting a half assed swine flu shot either.

Wanna know how to avoid it? Stop eating junk, get some exercise and practice common sense with your hygiene.

The problem is that it is worse then the common flu. While the flu usually kills the young, old, and those with weakened immune systems; the Swine Flu has been killing normalish kids as old as 12, something that the common flu doesn't usually do.

Obama called it a national emergency. While I can't find the information at the moment, I believe there are far more cases of H1N1 outbreaks than of the regular seasonal flu in my local area.

If you stay well nourished you're fine. Most people aren't staying hydrated and not doing to much to stay healthy or get better. But the swine flu vaccine will prevent all of that!!!!!111!1



On topic: GG Homeland security! Soon their will be an government organization that will watch over how much you use the bathroom. Can only poop 2 times a day and if it's not the right consistency they change your diet and make you buy government grown food.

This is bad idea from the start. Its jsut one more way the Obama Adminstration tries to get their grubby fats hands into every aspect of our lives.

OT: The swine flu is a concern but not the extent that the CDC and the goverment are making it out to be. Back in the 70's when my parents where in the Navy they had an issue with the swine flu. They both got the vacine and it made them both very sick for around two weeks. I think they still need to post numbers of people that have died from it against people who have died from the seasonal version. That way people can get a real graps of what is going on.
