I downloaded it within 20 minutes around 350-600kbps, from the official site, using DAP 09 downloader which gave me 5 connections.

9.04 can be upgraded, but you're stuck with grub legacy instead of grub2, also they've improved many aspects of the bootup sequence. also for some people with IDT audio in their laptops, they fixed the issue for them of not having sound.
