Out of curiosity, does anyone know how that 25% royalty fares against other engines such as the Source Engine?

This is the entire engine. It's not a set of mod tools. If you were to make your own game, it would require you to have an extensive knowledge of C++ (I haven't delved into it much, but it seems this is what it would require, being as it uses VS 2008 for those elements)

As far as visuals, scripting and sound, I imagine it's somewhat far easier if you're a designer, because they have some sort of drag and drop event checker that you can play with.

But this isn't a mod kit, it's a blank slate. So its a lot more work than you think.

I'll be playing with this for a while...hehe.
