I like what I'm seeing. To answer your question, the Aero-integrated Firefox theming is scheduled for Firefox 4, I believe. There is something about it in 3.7, but I'm pretty sure release is pointing to 4.

I don't really understand either why the Aeroness is taking so long to implement. There are several add-ons which can Aerofy Firefox. If developers can produce the add-ons and release them for free then why can't Mozilla speed up a bit?

They didn't remove anything, only disabled a few things. If you want to re-enable them you can just google it.
And I'm liking what Firefox 3.6 is bringing to the table, can't wait for the final release
