XRAM question
hi everyone. i just bought an x-fi xtreme music i never realized how good it is to have a sound card. i heard everyone on this website talking about how sweet they are, and they convinced me to buy one. so i wanted to thank all those people who convinved me to buy it.
anyhoo. i wanted ot know if my xtreme music has xram on it. i thought xram was only on fatal1ty sound cards. and i would also like to know what the differences are between the x-fi series cards. all i can tell is that some are smaler than others and have different prices...lol so if any of you could please fill me in here i would really appreciate it

XtremeMusic? No. Least, I'm pretty sure it doesn't.
XtremeGamer is the lowest end one that does IIRC.

the extrememusic does NOT have the xram. sorry, bud, but you'll be glad to know it's barely used anyways right now.

i was looking at newegg and it said that the xtreme gamer and the xtreme music have xram in their description. also i was looking at the side of my xtreme music and it had an infineon chip on it, just aboe the core. doesnt infineon make ram, cuz i have 512 of that in my old computer

I think it has 2mb of memory on it but not the 64 of x ram
