I use those and an AKG c2000B for my team speak setup lol

Nothing shocking here. Just this Logitech X-230 set and Logitech headphones.

Good soundcard, Crap speakers. Got some old Altec Lansing's that I use. They sound like crap, but they get the job done

I think I have pretty well the budget audiophile setup. It's not the best, but for the price, it can't be beaten by much. They're a little nicer on a dedicated source, but even off the Audigy 2 they sound great. They were originally just a mess-around project due to the rave reviews I read around different audio forums. Well needless to say I was stunned and decided to keep them for my PC setup. They are built to the CSS Elf 1.0 specs.

The sound stage provides an incredible span and they're very accurate for high's and mids. A little 8" standalone sub was added in to pick up the low end. All in all, the setup (including sub) cost me <$100.

Amp: Sonic Impact 15W Digital Class-T

Drivers: Tangband W3-871S 3" Full Range

Sub: KLH 8" w/ 100W plate amp

I don't have my cam right now, or I'd take a pic of everything set up. Here's a pic of my old home setup:

It was the Dayton Home Theater setup designed by "The Reverend" Wayne J. Decent little set for the price. I've unfortunately been on a student budget for all my builds. In any even, I've been able to learn alot.

Have any of you true audiophiles tried out any of the drivers with XBL^2 motors? I've been looking at the WR125S

http://www.creativesound.ca/details.php?model=WR125S

for my next little project. I actually haven't had the desire to build anything since I built that set, but the itch is starting to scratch again. I was just getting out of things as XBL came in.
