Go for it, I liked mine. I need to get myself a desktop headphone amp though...my shures sound fine out of my fairly cheap microshar and I'm getting the DR150 at crimbo. Just need to think of which one to get...

the XO is supposed to be a pretty decent amp, but I'm not interested in buying a lot of amps anymore so if someone wants to get one and send it to me I'll add it, but I'm happy with my Tomahawk for the time being so no new portable amps for me

actually, I spent way too much on a short time on audio equipment anyway so she was right to reign me in... granted I don't always like it but I gotta admit she goes along with a lot more than most wives would. She doesn't understand the hobby (or obsession as she would call it). The thing that boggles my mind is that most people who don't understand us can't hear the difference that a cable or new component can make... but my wife she does! She just can't justify spending the money to get there. But at least she can appreciate my stereo every once and a while. I think that's why she lets me get more stuff

And she did just agree to let me pay a professional to set up my turn table today! I'm excited. My TT is very similar to a Linn LP12 so it's pretty complected to get set up... and for the life of me I can't figure it out. But then again by the time I was old enough to buy music tapes were already on their way out!
