Did you install drivers from Creatives web site? I don't believe the newer releases have the complete software package with them, try downloading a CD ISO from here and installing everything from it, then upgrading the drivers.

Creative nuked their dolby support on the xtrememusic oem version, download the modded creative drivers called PAX to re-enable them, here is the thread on it.
http://www.driverheaven.net/audio-ge...-cards-26.html

Link to drivers, suggest you use filefront, get the name from this link though.

yes i have a xtrememusic OEM, so, you say that the chip is nuked but the card can support dts? i am confused, why creative do something like that with the card?

this is the driver for xp :

(Youp_Pax-XFI-V4.06).rar
FileFactory.com - free file hosting
Youp Pax V4.06 for XFI Only.
Whats new:
Set all sound XFI cards to 24Bit true sound.
Added Dolby fix for all card cross figures:
Thanks for maggreg at Driverheaven refix the dat file for me.
Fix issue with inf spelling.
Should work with AMD64 now let me know.
Please let me know asp. If all fix then I can release the Youp pax XFI 2008 suite Before I moved. I'm moving out my currect home on March 15 weekend.

it's the only thing that i can do to use dts in my "oem nuked card" ??

if i update the bios of my card maybe i don't need to install other driver, or not ?

thanks !!

edit:

i install the drivers (Youp_Pax-XFI-V4.06).rar but de decoder of DTS doesnīt appear

then i try to install the original iso tha i download from here: http://badboy.hub.io/

i download the iso for the xtrememusic, but when i try to install show this:

so, my card is an xtremememusic or not ? but the card is exactly the same !! and the code is in the card SB0460 !!

here is the console with the pax drivers:

sorry is in spanish, but you can see that the decoder DTS tab doesnīt appear..

HELP me please !!!

edit2: i resolve it !! i was installing the wrong drivers, to the x-fi oem are the YouP-PAX-Fiv3.33XFiOEM, but i have a doubt, this xtrememusic OEM really support decodification of DTS or this drivers do it by soft???, or the card really support DTS by hardware, the problem here is the bios that this card have, isnīt it ?

bye!!

Which drivers did you install to get them working, after a few months, i still have the same problem, and yes, it's an OEM card.

Could you give me the link for the drivers you installed please.

he might mean this one:

http://www.uploading.com/files/NU06K...FiOEM.rar.html

warning, there is a banner with some NSFW pictures at the bottom.

im gonna try these drivers after work. Creative really dropped the ball with their driver support. i have yet to get my surround sound speakers working after installing Vista and XtremeMusic
