Hmm... I was wondering the same thing. So I don't need to use the onboard audio anymore, right? It's useless.

Btw, I have Vista Business (32bit), on the Creative website, there are a bunch of utilities and stuff to download. Could someone please specify which ones I need and what to configure?

Soloz: You said you could help me out when I get the XtremeMusic. Can you help me make it sound better

Thanks.

For the onboard audio, all you have to do is disable it in BIOS. No need to uninstall any drivers. Once disabled in BIOS, it will be deactivated in Windows. Install the latest drivers and you're good.

Jacks, Get some nice speakers now. It'll blow your socks off. Nothing is cooler than being surrounded by sound.
