Well um, it doesnt work. The kid that bought my computer bought Vista Ultimate to put on it. So I did, after I did some wire management and everything the computer is running better than it ever has, and its clean!
So I get into vista and no sound...I have tried like 10 different driver packs...all unsuccessful. Can someone please shed some light on this problem?

Well I think I got it... somewhat, good enough to get rid of the computer lol
Vista wasnt recognized the sb, so I changed PCI slots, even tho the first slot worked in xp, so finally vista recognized it but wouldnt auto install it. So I had it connect to the internet looking for drivers, took about 15 minutes for some reason but then I had sound. The sound was horrible, finally found you can setup how many speakers you have by "configure" in sound options, once I chose 5.1 it started sounding tons better. Guess Ill figure it out myself
