Since the colors do not match you may have to do trial and error session with the Speaker Self-test. The test will allow you to check each channels output. Use a process of elimination to determine which is the R and which is the L channel....

....or you could take a peek at the manual or .pdf file online.

Use the green jack, that is stereo. For the subwoofer you will need to experiment.

Have you installed the Drivers?

What does the Device Manager have to say about the status?

Do you have a Sound Console? If so it ought to have a utility to check each channel...

device manager says its working, but when i do the sound test it doesn't play the sound when it tests the left speaker, only when it goes to the right speaker it plays the sound, and you can tell no sound comes from it when you listen closely.

whats a sound console??

ill re-install the drivers

The "sound conole" is a generic term for a utility that allows customization.

Also, have you looked at the Audio settings in the Control Panel?

Check to see if Windows has the correct settings (i.e. Speakers).
