Default CS:S don't like my sound drivers

Just as the title states, CS:S is the only application that does not seem to like my mic. My mic will work fine under all other circumstances, but it just reproduces a loud and annoying static sound. I updated my drivers to 2.09 for the Realtek ALC882. Somebody wanna help me get to the bottom of this?

use USB mic for a while.... USB mic doesn't use your onboard soundcard.

I get that same problem.

Try going to realtek control panel and turning off " Stereo mix".

If that doesn't fix it, then I don't know what else will.

I use a USB headset and works just fine... Plus, this was back when I owned the REALLY buggy DFI 975x.

Oh, and way to epic bump yo.
