Heres the reason why i did it, also on the first page....


1. Card didnt work for me, Random BSOD's and AppCrashes
2. Creative drivers didnt work
3. Daniel_K drivers didnt work
4. My friend i was going ot give it to got an x-fi
5. If i wanted to sell it shipping owuld be more than i could get for the card,
6. Didnt sell on craigslist/kjiji after 2 weeks of being up
7. Had been on my desk for over a week
8. I was boured out of my mind

@ Arekieh: You can remove the link to the creative thread.... it doesn't exist anymore... (way to fail, OCN.... remove a link that had 500 refbacks so that guests see a "page not found" error).

i agree with you in a way but at the same time - the decision to close it was a good idea. To delete it was kind of wrong, especially because it generated alot of traffic.

What was achieved? People became informed, OCN set a new "people online" record, and new membership hit an all time high... now, people will click the link on any of hundred's of sites and see "invalid link".... It was only averaging 1,000+ views an hour, wtg...
