Really people, get a grip. This is as potent a form of protest of customer neglect and declining product support as any. Should the OP have taken on a more "serious" tone, one of dismay and disappointment at what has become of creative... those of you condemning this act would be the same to applaud it.

I for one, despite the OPs intent, see this as lucid statement of the aggregate emotion of an enthusiast community that has had its fill of corporate neglect. We as consumers, want to trust that the institutions that receive our moneys will continue to honor the tacit agreement we enter with them upon purchasing their product. Creative has failed to do so. Though I think their response to Daniel K is legimate (and legally sound)... it should have never come to this to begin with.

AreKieh... good for you. Your expression, whether protest or just plain boredom... as spurned on thoughts and reactions... which is more than can be said for creatives product support teams
