![]() ============================== To the original poster (Licht), honestly, if all you care about is hearing voices and having them hear you, then you'll be just fine with that Logitech unit. It should do just that.

Hmmm, if you really can't get the Sennheiser PC-350 try these: PLANTRONICS GAMECOM1 3.5mm. They are basically the Plantronics Audio .90 which is a kickass headset on the budget. I used to own a set of Plantronics Audio .90 before I upgraded to Senneheiser HD595, and trust me, I speak from experience.
![]() The Logitech ClearChat Comfort USB you were looking at is a USB headset, you DO NOT want a USB headset because you will not be able to use that headset with your soundcard. Rule of thumb, if looking for a sound device, look for a brand that specializes in that particular product. Logitech specializes in keyboards and mouse, not headphones/headsets. Heck, I don't consider them to be specialist in desktop speakers as well, but that's another topic.

As far as hardware or software support, how many people here actually calls microsoft when they have a problem? Many of us here do not use proprietary machines, so why bother with support since we decided to support ourselves in the first place?

Beyerdynamic DT234pro is a good headset but have you sampled the PC-350? If you call it "rubbish" what are the PC-350 cons?
