I have Windows set to go into Stand By just a few minutes after turning off the hdd's, and when I wake the computer up, the sound sometimes gets muted. But this is totally random. It sometimes seems like it does it every other time it goes into Stand By, and it seems like it can go almost a dozen times in a row without being muted, and other times it can be muted every single time.
Is there a fix for this? |

The point is: when it automatically goes to Stand By (and I want to specify that it turns the hdd's off prior to going into stand by as I do not know whether or not this has anything to do with it), the sound will be muted when I wake the computer up. Now let me be clear that I have my reasons for setting it to go to Stand By (after automatically turning off the hdd's), so I'm going to continue using it. But what's annoying is that I have no idea why this strange behavior is happening, and I would really like to understand it. |
