Not a easy decision kind of need a poll for this. Mostly gonna be for music and gaming . Anyways help make my decision a little easier Thanks all Ben

What happened to getting an outboard DAC and using the X-Fi for gaming?

The Auzentech X-Fi Prelude is the better option in my opinion, you really need the X-Fi APU for gaming features (If you game of course). Plus the Prelude has excellent sound quality and the price is quite reasonable right now (I got it back when it was $200).

Well i sent the USB DAC back because the sound card (extreme gamer surpassed it in sound quality)
