You're going to love them. I've loved every paid of Sennheiser's I've owned so far.

they'll most likely be better then whatever headset you previously used but depending on the source of your audio it may be hard to hear the difference. Try using lossless formats (.ogg, .flac, .aflac, .ape) and possibly invest in a sound card... there is also ASIO out that utilizes the direct processing of the sound cards DAC instead of the kernel...

ok, these are great, alot better than the cans i WAS using, i'm still burning in,(bout 12hrs so far), although i am sceptical about this 'burning in'.!! at high volume, everything is getting muddled, sorta mixed together, although this could be the source, (onboard sound), what do u think

well burn in loosens up the coils and such, it has truth to it in logic, but it doesn't mean u need to have them blairing, simply find a suitable volume for yourself, and use them. The source is generally the first place to look, then after that its the amps themselves, and yes your PC will use a small amp circuit in its on board audio...

Could be the source. Just remember the the HD201s, while good for the price, are still very low-end, cheap headphones. You're not going to be getting hi-fi sound from them, but it will most likely be pretty good. =D
