I need some good quality cans that produce some sweet bass. Around-ear preferable, sound reduction is nice, bass a must. I have some Sennheiser 280PRO's and the sound quality is great, but not nearly enough bass. Newegg preferable, not required.

Any suggestions audiophiles?

well is there a budget? or a price range?

for the ~$100 range these ATH - AD700s Will serve you nicely... nice and bassy, around/on ear, comfortable, and with a closed back have good sound reduction as well.

150$ tops, 100$ is a nice and good aim.

Do you have experience with these headphones? I just want to make sure they're bassy enough. I'm the kind of guy that sits a foot away from 12" subs in the back of a car just to enjoy the kick on Weapons of Mass Distortion. =)

In that case, no doubt you want Beyerdynamic DT770s. Preferably the Pro 80-ohm version, especially if you're not going to be using an amp.

They should be under $150 or so on ebay, Newegg doesn't sell them though.

Hellscream, while the AD700s are certainly a great set of cans, especially for the price (got a pair on the way to me, in fact), nothing in this price range can come close to touching the DT770s in term of bass response.

You could also look on the Head-Fi for sale forums... but they tend to like Paypal.

DT880s are bright, sparkly, and incredibly detailed, but amp dependent and some would call them lean on bass.
