Default quick micraphone questio

hey guys, im trying to record a conversation between me and another person for a history project on their computer Its a hp pavillion laptop with a built in mic. We already tested the mic to make sure it works, which it does. But we were just wondering what application we would use to record our conversation. We were unable to find one on the comp, and ideas?

google audacity.

Its much better than the built in windows one.

You can find the sound recorder (if you are on vista... im guessing) by searching recorder and it will pop up.
