i have the z-5500, but want to get rid of them, i never really crank it up, im getting rid of all my pc games, as im turning to the ps3 for all my gaming needs, im only goin to be using my comp. speakers for music; maybe ill wait for a price drop

For that kind of money just buy yourself a pair of Audioengine A5's and be happy about it. In fact, I can almost guarantee that the A5 will have better imaging not to mention the sound quality.
