I recently installed ASIO for Winamp, as I heard it provides slightly better audio quality, and that can't be a bad thing.
__________________But, with ASIO set up as the output, I've noticed a small problem. If I pause, then unpause a song, or simply skip forward to the next song, about 0.5 seconds after playback begins, I get a split second-stutter. After this stutter, there are no more unless I skip, or pause again. I don't really want to be told "uninstall ASIO", as there are people who use ASIO with Winamp with no problems at all. Anyone got any ideas?

Increase the buffer length.

That didn't help, unfortunately. Default was 7, increased it to 63, no change. Well, I assume you meant the buffer length within the ASIO config.

I'm going to be naughty and bump this thread.

I haven't had the same problem, but maybe try updating your drivers? It's worth a shot...
