Any of you know where we could pick up brackets like that out here in the States? I checked Home Depot and Lowe's and I couldn't find anything.

what do you mean by drop down the wall?

I'm not sure about the US, bunnings in australia is like a one stop shop for absolutely EVERYTHING related to hardware. Maybe ask a carpenter/tradesmen? They might know where to get them/have some.

By drop down the wall he means to drill a hole behind the speaker, throw the cord down it, and drill an exit hole somewhere else. Hides all your cables.

As for the americans looking for similar things, any L bracket should do fine. Just look for something that is a bit more heavy duty than a cabinet holder. Lowes should have them, as should home depot.

In regards to painting, It's metal and thus should be fairly simple. I'm no spraypainter, so don't rely on me, but I think a primer and then black spraypaint would be fine, probably should sand it down before you prime as well.

Home Depot sells 4"x4"x1" steel brackets that might work. They are like $1.25 each.

Great work!

I have the same speakers, but I just pounded a little nail into the wall. Seems to hold them up OK for me. Your way is a little more professional though, especially with the ability to angle the speakers from side to side. I like it.
