As for the americans looking for similar things, any L bracket should do fine. Just look for something that is a bit more heavy duty than a cabinet holder. Lowes should have them, as should home depot.

In regards to painting, It's metal and thus should be fairly simple. I'm no spraypainter, so don't rely on me, but I think a primer and then black spraypaint would be fine, probably should sand it down before you prime as well.
I'm definitely not going to drill a hole lol, takes longer than 5 minutes and it'll take me some time to clean it up when I'm done... What I'm thinking of doing is getting some really good and wide duct tape that's white (matches the wall) and tape that onto the cord and put that onto the wall.

I'll try spray painting it sometime maybes...

Thanks I don't want to put holes in the wall, cause I really don't like fixing them again.

My net is playing up... stupid double post.

I might have to change this to a $10, 10 minute Speaker wall mount if I decide to add all this stuff onto it.

nice guide. cool idea!
as for painting, just sand with about 320-400grit sandpaper, primer is usually a good idea for metal. grit doesn't matter too much, but lower tends to leave scratch marks, and higher may not be able to get it even. Im not a painting pro or anything, but ive done it before.

IMHO,

Holes in wall > crash/thud in the middle of the night

You could even use a standard picture hanger that would leave the tiniest hole and just bend the hook if needed. If you're determined to not drill holes this adhesive based hook could work (not sure if it will fit in the hole on the speaker though) but it is a little more expensive...$8.24 ea @ Home Depot

Depends on speakers and weight and wall type.

IMHO I had thought of doing that except them by themselves cost about $6 here
