What's the better one between these two?

The XtremeAudio is the rebadged Audigy, not the XtremeMusic. The Music is actually a really solid card. I think I saw one for sale somewhere here at OCN that I would get as opposed to either one of those that you linked to. Would save you a lot of money. Ah, here it is.

either will do you fine... and the Extreme Music is a fine card, the one you're thinking of is the Extreme Audio... which is an Audigy 2 rebadge...

I don't know myself because I don't use Vista but I have heard it is fine from multiple people here at OCN.

It works just fine, but do be sure to buy the retail as the OEM one has driver issues.
retail=all gold plug in OEM=color coded plug in

Last I checked, those cards often had different part numbers and as such would use different drivers. (The "official" version of the Xtreme Music is SB0460 - at least one model from HP, the SB0670, cannot use the official drivers so I assume that applies to others as well.)

Exactly... if DSP's are all the same on the X-Fi except for the real cheap Extreme Audio Audigy 2 re-badge..
In fact if you get a X-Fi and are using it with Vista X64, dont install using the CD. Download the drivers, Audio Console, and Alchemy and you are set.. dont bother with anything else... Bloatware
