Well I have an X-Fi music, and recently uninstalled\installed the new drivers. I had the beta drivers before which worked decently, but IMO these new ones give a lot more clarity of sound... but now suddenly my mic doesn't work. I used it in another computer and it worked, so its not the mic. Suggestions?

go to windows contral panel > sounds and audio devices > then go to the voice tab, , there options of playback and recording, on playback select line in. (i.e use line in) and have the mic set to the lowest volume, on recording have mic to max and see if that works,

Ok here is what i do. Double click the icon, then click the settings button on the bottom of the panel. Under Flexijack tab the button is set to line-in, change it to microphone and it should fix your problem.
