I have the speakers as default but still do not hear the sound from the Realtek configure screen. Oddly enough when I run a test with my Creative remote all speakers respond accordingly.
This is odd....

Time for some more trail and error testing!

I thought I had the speakers set to default, could of swore actually, when I ran the I-tunes test with sound. In any case after I restarted I attempted to run the configure test to no avail & then I-tunes again. This time no sound comes out for i-tunes, I also noticed the lack of intro music to vista. I have set the default device back to 'Digital Output' and I-tunes and vista music for that matter work again. However I still can not get any sound from the test in the Realtek Audio manager thingy. THe manual speaker test still works fine.
