Your suggestion will stop me from ever posting news. Not that that would be a bad thing

Click the volume on your task bar and make sure none of your speakers are muted. Also, go into properties and make sure 5.1 is selected. Something like this happen to me before. I set it to 5.1 and only heard 2.1. It fixed itself after I restarted my pc.
