The one time I had an issue with my xtremegamer, is when I hooked up the front case connections to the card. While troubleshooting, I disconected those, then plugged directly in the back, and its been flawless since. (Hooking up in the back while the case connection was hooked up didn't work)

has your card ever been installed on a 32 bit os..? and it worked?
__________________did youplay with all teh windows settings 2003 server has many problems getting sound to work cause it is disabled in windows right from the get go and I have seen some xp os'es liek that also? let me know

I have seen people with 2.1 with np at all most problems wtih people pushing 7.1

try changing pci slot or whatever slot that card uses

I'm willing to bet you have your speakers still plugged into your motherboard. Make sure it's plugged in the soundcard itself. Works fine for me in Vista64

Try taking out one of your sticks of RAM supposedly there are issues with X-FI's and 4gbs of RAM although I haven't had that problem. I would also suggest trying a different a pci slot. And those don't work I would reinstall Windows because I have never had an issue installing creative drivers.
