Default HD 201s worth it?

Ok my both of my Skullcandy headphones died last week (I know, why did I buy this ****?)

So I'm looking for something better. Problem is I'm in Canada so prices are basically doubled for anything decent.

I was thinking about the HD 201s, I'm getting murdered on the shipping, but I can get them off of Amazon.com for $46.75 shipped. Compared to anything locally thats one hell of a deal.

I was wondering if anyone had any better ideas? I can't go above $60 shipped to Canada, but I don't know too much about headphones (again, skullcandy ) so if you can find something better, preferably closed, no earbuds, I would greatly appreciate it.

I wish I could help you mate, but with that budget you really are best off getting the 201's. If you could up your bdget I'd say look for users selling their headphones, as you can usually get it cheap off them and the shipping isn't overkill, but that's not the case. I can't think of any other good headphones under that price.

If you don't mind clip ons, take a look at the Koss KSC-75s as well. They typically go for $15-20 here in the states, so if you can find them they should be reasonably priced, and they sound fantastic for how much they cost.

I don't like open headphones though, they tend to fall off too much.

I switched to ebay. I ordered my last headphones there and it worked out alright.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/SENNHEISER-HD-201...d=p3286.c0.m14

I can get the HD 212s for twice the price, but since its over $40 the import fee will be doubled. Overall, the HD 201s will come out to around $40s, but the HD 212s will end up being around $70. Can you justify that price?

Buy.com ships to Canada right?

I personally can't stand Sennheisers, they sound grainy, especially the lower end models.
Not to mention they look like Fisher-Price "My First Headphones"
