Default grado sr80/125 vs alessandro ms1??

well right now i have the sr125s and my roommate has the sr80's. i was wondering how different would the alessandro ms1's sound compared to the regular grados? i listen to mostly rock and indie mixed with a little bit of everything else.

from what i understand the grados are much more upfront with a more narrow sound stage.
where the Alessandros have a wider sound stage and are much more neutral sounding then the grados.
if rock is your main genre i stick with the grados as they really bring it to life.

I was wondering this too although I think my SR-80 were a good buy.
