Default Need gaming headset

Hey all,

I need a relatively cheap gaming headset with a mic built in. As of now I'm using a Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000 that my roommate has. Comfort is a big issue since I wear glasses and when the headphones are over my ears, it pushes the ends of my glasses against my back ear, making it sore after a while.

Newegg preferred.

How much are you willing to spend?
Are you hell bent on the mic being attached?
What sound characteristics are you looking for?

I have a pair of those, not bad for the price. And since you want a mic...but honestly.. If you could afford them I would get the HD-555's they are only 98 bucks on newegg and are far superior.

Yea. I pretty much want the mic on the headset or else I'd use my earbuds and a mic. I want to keep it around $50. Don't want to go all out for a gaming headset. If not, I guess I'll just use the Microsoft ones.

Hey mate. I'd personally reccomend my setup, a pair of Sennheiser HD515s with a zalman clip on mic. I wasn't to flash on it at first but i'm so glad I got the setup now. They're awesome value for money.

Goodluck mate.
