Well I am newly settled with my awesome new cans and sound card...then I have to go and tweak my overclock because my fan controllers helping me get better temps. I also upgraded to a Corsair HX620 as well.
__________________Earlier today everything worked fine together. I installed the HX620 after already installing the sound card and stuff the other day, and it booted up without a hitch. I burned them in while I was at work, came home and put in my new fan controller. Now I get the error saying that "The internal power is not plugged in." Most of the time, it will say this when I click the Asus control panel. The big issue is that basically everything is just this side of inaudible, I can't watch streaming videos and hear more than faint whispers and Idk what to do. That's simply impossible. I have a single molex to 4-pin adapter that I use on a single cord that goes directly into the modular slot. I have: Changed between two different molex to 4-pin adapters Changed the slot in which the modular cables were inserted in the PSU Changed the actual extension cable that fits into the molex to 4-pin... Reseated the Sound card in the PCI-E slot Held physically the 4 pin cable to ensure that it was most definitely making perfect contact Unplugged the Fan controller and run the sound card from the other 4-pin to molex cable Made sure the card was physically in perfect condition, it is. And it still says my power is not plugged in. I don't see how a fan controller can do this. I had to really work hard to get the fan controller to fit correctly and it would be very frustrating to take it out and try. I am very certain that I have my power cable plugged in snugly. What is happening?
