__________________that is what I was thinking about getting http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826153002 or that http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826153034 or that also how well do desk mic's work these days? if they work well I think il get a pair of HD555's from sennheiser.. anybody got other recomendations? for audio card I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829102005 chosen at the moment... it looks ok and I hear good things about creative. any good? for speakers http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16836121130 my buddy had a pair of them loved them still has them. anything better for sub 100 or even sub 80? 2.1 will do just fine.

That's a great choice for a sound card. Now as for speakers, if you're willing to shed a few more bucks, for $106 you can get the Logitech Z-2300. There's a pretty big difference between the Logitech Z-4 40 and Logitech Z-2300. IMO is definitely worth raising the budget for.
__________________As for mic's, they do work well, as long as you don't have a ton of noise in the background. I personally prefer getting good headphones and using a separate mic. Getting the Sen HD555 and a separate mic would be a very good combination.

yah i will raise budget for the z-2300's and I think I will get a mic and headset seperate. I dont have much noise cuz I play at night mostly so no tv's or anything. thanks for the info.
