Default need help with headset/speaker and card pick

That's a great choice for a sound card. Now as for speakers, if you're willing to shed a few more bucks, for $106 you can get the Logitech Z-2300. There's a pretty big difference between the Logitech Z-4 40 and Logitech Z-2300. IMO is definitely worth raising the budget for.

As for mic's, they do work well, as long as you don't have a ton of noise in the background. I personally prefer getting good headphones and using a separate mic. Getting the Sen HD555 and a separate mic would be a very good combination.

yah i will raise budget for the z-2300's and I think I will get a mic and headset seperate. I dont have much noise cuz I play at night mostly so no tv's or anything. thanks for the info.
