I don't really see any new options to be honest. They sound the same too. Something I'm missing?

I could have swore those were there. All they seem to do is add MORE bass...which isn't exactly needed for me lol.

Nah it's cool. I know they're nowhere near the best. I wish EAX settings would do something tho (like the theater, recital hall)...all they do is make a ton more bass and a nasty echo. Same with you?

Oh wait...i messed around with some settings and now it sounds...clearer. Like the bass drowns everything out less, but still is loud and punchy...if that makes any sense.

Yeah , thats why i don't touch the EAX settings.

lol , yeah i tweaked it as well. If you put the cut off frequency at 200, it lowers the bass. so basically the lower the number , the higher the bass. I didnt like that setting though because it seemed to make my bass all muddy. The regular bass/treble settings in the windows mixer do it well enough.
