The Creative Entertainment Ceter are not included with the driver pack, but it was easy enough to install the application from the X-Fi driver disk.

All I did was removed all Creative drivers (almost didnt see the volume control in the add/remove...), ran driver cleaner and installed the Pax drivers. When installation finished i just selected not to restart, then poped in the X-Fi disk. I then selected custom installation and just checked only the Entertainment Center. After the application installed I rebooted. Everything is working great.

lol , yeah i tweaked it as well. If you put the cut off frequency at 200, it lowers the bass. so basically the lower the number , the higher the bass. I didnt like that setting though because it seemed to make my bass all muddy. The regular bass/treble settings in the windows mixer do it well enough.
Yeah EAX is garbage...at least for me

Sub cut off makes my bass sound bad as well, and the regular windows treble and bass settings are ok i guess...at least treble is. Anything over like 60 on the bass it's totally overpowering and distorted at medium volume.

Does it fix the annoying crackling these cards make? It does that on my rig when I am running two GFX cards or a single one in the top PCI-E slot.

If so, I'm back to use my xtreme music

I'm using my soundcard to the fullest except for the remote.
Hopefully this'll work good on my newly installed VUx64.
Even the original drivers from creative (on XP) had problems with the volume in the last drivers on the I/O DTS. and sparky sounds like when a speaker is blown.

Weird problem. Got my computer out of sleep mode this morning and the driver had crashed. Restarted and it worked fine. Right now I'm at school and my computer is currently back in sleep mode, so I'll see if this causes another driver crash.

Your card is a high end X-Fi. The only difference between it and the X-Fi Platinum is the I/O front panel. I suggest you try them.

Marin, I havent had a problem with sleep mode compatibility yet.
