Odd.. It worked for me without any hastle, all I did was install, reboot, and configure. Did you remove any previous drivers installed, including the console launcher?

And I highly recommend the xtreme music over the onboard. Onboard audio sounds crap compared to it.

Thanks nuclear, i just updated the first post

As for your problem syncmaster , try uninstalling all sound drivers, restarting , then installing the pax drivers. I have had that problem too. You just need to uninstall them , and what ever else you have going on.

Drivercleaner is a good program i do believe.

Wow, it really fixed the crackling for you? Mine crackles (only in game and entertainment mode) with every driver I've ever tried, including this one. sadface...

But other than that, these drivers work great.

Hey, thanks for posting these.

With these my sound does sound a great deal better, and I can have bass too!

One issue that I encountered, is that opening the creative control panel froze my computer, and cause a reboot.

I do have the fix for it; instead of opening the CCP, I went under the sound in the taskbar, right clicked on it, and selected "playback devices" and clicked on my speakers and clicked "properties" then under the "soundblaster" tab, I selected "settings" and use that to change settings.

Does any one have any issues with echoing seemingly on? I go to "entertainment" mode, and switch the EAX to none, and turn it off, and when I go to game mode it some what fixes it, but not 100%.

Other than that the positional audio sounds much better on my Razr HP-01's.

Installed em on my Xtrememusic/Logitech X-230's and didn't really hear much of a difference. Even still, it does stream some of the cool controls from the driver CD that you get into the newest driver package, so that's fairly cool (if you just download the newest drivers from Creative, you don't get em). I suppose I'll keep em, simply because it isn't any worse than the stock driver revision. I suppose if I had better speakers I'd hear a marked difference.
