Default using 5.1 speakers?
Alright i have a 5.1 speaker setup for my 360/T.V they all use the RCA/Composite plug and i am wondering. all off the speakers plug into the sub and the the sub has a RED/WHITE cable coming out kind of like this

Speakers=====Sub=====Red/White audio cables


I am wondering if there is something i can get for my computer so i can just use those instead of running out and buying a mainly pricey on my budget 5.1 speaker setup? any help is wanted please! thanks!

im not sure exactly how you have it set up, but the extra 2 rca's are probably line outs...

maybe you can use an input selector/switcher, but you wont get true 5.1..

maye if you post some pics or a diagram of your setup, i can help out better..

Yup, shiarua is right. The 3.5mm to RCA cable is exactly what you need. I use 3 of those to connect my media PC to my Home Theater receiver.

All of the connections get split in the subwoofer then go to the speakers which is why it only needs 2 REd/WHITE cables instead of 6, 5 for speakers and 1 for woofer. i will be getting one of those connectiongs for the 3.5mm jack and i will see how i turn out thanks people
