using 5.1 speakers?

Alright i have a 5.1 speaker setup for my 360/T.V they all use the RCA/Composite plug and i am wondering. all off the speakers plug into the sub and the the sub has a RED/WHITE cable coming out kind of like this
Speakers=====Sub=====Red/White audio cables I am wondering if there is something i can get for my computer so i can just use those instead of running out and buying a mainly pricey on my budget 5.1 speaker setup? any help is wanted please! thanks! ![]() Jtypin

im not sure exactly how you have it set up, but the extra 2 rca's are probably line outs...
__________________maybe you can use an input selector/switcher, but you wont get true 5.1.. maye if you post some pics or a diagram of your setup, i can help out better..

Yup, shiarua is right. The 3.5mm to RCA cable is exactly what you need. I use 3 of those to connect my media PC to my Home Theater receiver.

Those are what i need, but do they come with 2 double sided female RCA things? like so?

All of the connections get split in the subwoofer then go to the speakers which is why it only needs 2 REd/WHITE cables instead of 6, 5 for speakers and 1 for woofer. i will be getting one of those connectiongs for the 3.5mm jack and i will see how i turn out thanks people
