Default Kinda Newbish To This... :(

Okay me and a kid from my school and a few others over the summer rented out a camp ground and had bands come play and had a huge party at the end of the school year, But we mostly had the bands bring there own stuff and we did not have to do like any technical stuff at all...

But Luke wants me and him to put together a dance outside of the school for Charity and came to me about the Audio...
(Because we have like 300 Kids in are high school and like 3 of us know anything about computers)

I'm not 100% Stupid on the audio...But I do know that my computer right now threw my crappy plug and play sound card will not support anything near a hall of amps...

I also have no clue what to use to get from my sound card/computer into like at least 4 good sized amps...can someone help out by walking me threw some of this stuff?...

I vegly understand it but I don't have anything towards it and we are going to be renting the audio stuff...so I need to know whats best to get and what I need...

Almost anything will help...I feel stupid that I can do alot with computers but I SUCK when it comes to audio most the time...

(PS Don't "Newb-a-lize" me please)

if the sound card is going to a sound board and amp, it should sound fine and work good.

Are you looking for product recommendations or just advice on how to set up your system? What do you currently have, and what do you want to do with it?

ok most likely your going to need a mixing board. a couple of amps (reletive to the monitors your going to rent) the monitors and then all the cable to hook everything up. i personaly would talk to someone at your school that handles the AV. ask them all about it. perhaps get them to show you how to do everything.
