What do you mean by give in? Like they crapped out on you?

[edit] do they come in ear phones?

Ugh, skull candies. Lots of hype, lots of bass, but it sounds like crap. The bundled Zune headphones are decent, but they're not well-rounded. Kinda empty in the depth area. It really depends on your budget and your style preference. My ears are shaped kinda weird, so I personally like Headphones/in-ear headphones.

So, what's your budget?

OH! For I think $60-$70, you can get some really great V-Moda in-ear headphones. It's a bit bass-heavy, but unlike the Skull Candies, these are great in almost the entire spectrum of sound.

A quick Google reveals you can get them in the $70 range, but I saw a sale at Costco for about $60.

I've read a review, and it says that they don't give that great of highs, but then again, its a budget. But gezz, for only 60 when they are over 100? Very nice

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/V-MODA/Vibe/5.html

Anyways, if I can't find those, any other suggestions?

They're similar to the stock iPod earphones

Yeah, they're excellent bang for buck. The Zune 4 is great, might want more storage though.

Skull Candies are piles of junk marketed to middle schoolers.

I have a Zune and I love it.

I'm not really an audiophile, I just have the stock earbuds that come with it and my laptop has whatever soundcard came with it and I got this Microsoft headset for free. So I don't have any high-quality equipment to really know if something sounds poor compared to high quality stuff. But I really like the Zune itself and it definitely does not sound bad.

Well, right now I'm using this ipod nano that my little brother has, but he doesn't use it and I'm just barrowing it right now. 4GB might be plenty for me, 1 000+ songs pwnz

Used to have a zen and the headphones that came with that for some reason were really good, the sound quality was amazing for the first bit and then my dog got at it. I got another nano, the older one (full plastic one) but I dunno about that one :\. I'm liking the zune now and you can put pictures on the back, lol

ok so you want IEM's right? well first of all IEM's and highes dont realy go together well. so if your only looking to spend 20 or so get the jvc fx33 marshmellows then do the kramer mod on them. they are decent but increadable bang for buck. if you want even better sound but not in an iem then try the koss ksc-75's the king of budget headphones. and if your wanting like over the head then check out a pair of grado sr 60's which are great for rock.
