"Zune prevails" - LOL

Gimme a break. Unless the player is utter trash or youre comparing two totally different class players, there's really only two factors these days - the quality of the music file and the headphones you use.

If your looking for sound quality, the iPod is the better choice, but the difference is negligible . iTunes is also very nice when you have all your music set-up and tagged correctly. Personally I do like the Zune's interface over the iPod. The iPod can also take a bit more abuse than the Zune can. My Zune 80GB's screen broke after a mere 5 fool fall onto tiled floor. I've seen iPods go down staircases, hit concrete and they don't die. In the end, both the iPod and the Zune are great choices.

That cowon d2 is sounding impressive actually . Thanks for the input guys

Though it seems to be too big, as it is going to fit in my pocket most of the day . Is the O2 version the exact same thing, just with less battery power? It seems to be a lot smaller.

indeed if you want a smaller dap go for the IA7 or the IAF2 the iaf2 kinda looks like a phone. and the ia7 is very minimalistic. and they both suport flac and have fairly robust outputs.
