Default only 1 active rca from sub/centre output

Hi, just found my self another amp to power my centre and sub.

Wierd thing is though that when the 2 rca's from my sound card's sub output are plugged into the amp im only getting 1 active rca and the other isnt doing anything so the amp is only gettin half a signal because it needs 2 rca's.

But when i plug my amp into the rear output on the card and set creative volume pannel to 4.1 then i get full output on both rca's.

Do i need a mono rca cable or something?
