Default Phospholipid on the JVC Marshmellows [FX34]

Wah ze fok?

Today, before class I purchased the JVC Marshmellows, for 19$.

These things, suck.

The sound quality is horrid, everything bottoms out on these things. The bass is muddy and even the mids sound uninspired and weak. Guitar strums and vocals sound shrill and unclear. After hearing so much about these budget babies, I decided to pick them up to try em out, but my god.

Cable quality is great though, nice thicker cable that doesn't feel like it's going to tear. The drivers feel like they're gonna break in my hands. One about these earbuds are the foam tips, they feel great in the ear. Better than my Denon and Super.Fi IEM's tips. All earbuds should come stock with these puppies.

I would not recommend these to anyone, I'd say the iPod earbuds do a better job, or some 15$ sonys. I will be returning these after class [and a few more hours of listening].

Songs Listened to - Cat Stevens -Wild World/ Pendulum- Showdown/ Ratatat- Shempri/ Radiohead - Videotape/ Portishead - Silence

I'd return them and get some Air-Cushions instead.

The bass is very muddy and bleeds into music too much, although I found they were quite detailed for earbuds.

I was wondering myself, as I have the FX66's and I like them very much, but I left them at work and I needed a pair for working out anyways, I thought I'd get a cheap pair. I'm going to go pick up the sonys after class.

They definitely don't sound quite as good pre-kramer mod but... are you joking?

Kramer mod helped somewhat, but I was never a huge fan either.

I still think the Koss KSC75 murders everything < $50, including Marshmallows, HD201, HD202, etc.

yea i exagerated the improvement. but it dose help. the bass issent as dominate after the mod and the highs and mids come out a bit.

i dont doubt you aura that the ksc 75's are the best but when the person needs a pair of iems for under $40 ya point em to the fx33's and the kramer mod thread.
