Default need a new pair of heaphones for MP3 player

ok so I have these
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...10151&INT=M:ak

and they work great IMO got them for like 15 or 25 bucks. only not that color =D and well I toss them in my back pocket when at work so the cord wears on its self. and the rubber on them isnt hard its more soft os it puts holes in the cord that eventualy wear out. so I electrical tape it lol. and I have had them for a year and a half or 2 years almost so I decided time to replace them when the padding started to rip. anybody have any suggestions for this type of headphone or in ear ones that sound good and are peferabaly under 50 bucks w/o noise canceling?

and one other thing. do those in ears with the rubber fit better than the plastic padded ones? the plastic ones never seem to fit me... ever. ither always to big or too small. i wear my heaphones when moveing so they gota stay on =D.

thanks for the advice in advance.

jvc fx33's with a kramer mod. eather that or koss ksc75's (sound amazing for price) are your best bet for portable headphones.

as for banded headphones go try koss portapro or perhaps harx700's

well I went to the store last night and they didnt have any of the ones you guys mentioned but they had the FX34's from JVC so I picked up a pair and I must say they sound great for 17 bucks. such a improvement over my old over ear headphones. only thing is they fit my ear tightly so when I walk I hear weird noises like if you plug your ears and then start walking... i dono maby its just me lol anyways thanks for the help guys.

now do the kramer mod on those fx33/4's and be suprised at how good they sound for the money. search headfi for the kramer mod.

its because your body is noisy. when all outside noises are blocked you will still get some come in through conduction. you get that also with good earpulgs. you can hear your joints moveing and grinding. and the shockwaves of your footsteps.
