Yeah mines pretty durable. What software do you have to use with the zune? WMP? I prefer the gloss black of the zune and 30/60gb ipods to the newer matt alu effect they have going on.

I wouldn't get either of those actually. I like the Creative Zens myself, great sound quality and you don't have to deal with I-Tunes.

Not a huge zen fan. My friends have had them before and i always found them inferior to my ipod.

To each is own, I like em' though. I usually use my player for music only, Ipods probably do excel over Zens in other areas. I still love my Zen's battery life. =)

Unless you're running 75$+ cans, the average consumer, or ever tech guy can't tell the difference between a Zune Mini Jack and a iPod Mini Jack.

The benefits of the ipod is the streamlined software and the MASSIVE amount of thirdy party hardware for your car/house/whatever.

The benefits of the Zune is the slightly better mini-jack, and its aesthically pleasing software.

Personally, I use a iPod Classic [because you can find accessories for it dirt cheap], and I run ALAC from it, using the Line out Dock for playback in my car/work speakers.

GL in your choices!

iPod ftw,

I use the classic 80GB with shure e2c headphones and its fine for me. I've never used a zune , but heard decent things about them.

As for durability , i have two dents in the back of it and it seems to work fine

I have the Black iPod Classic 160GB and have bought it as soon as it was available and all that I can say is that it is an awsome device, never gave me trouble of any sort and I use it on a daily basis and I have to charge it only once a week. I have lots and lots of albums and films and the best part is that you can hook it to your car stereo (of cousre it has to be iPod compatable).

It offers tons of fun and also it has inbuilt games and you can also download more.

iPod is the way to go, imo
