I love how people are like "iPod FTW! ... but ive never used a Zune..."

I had used plenty of iPods before i decided to get an mp3 player. I decided to get a Zune. I am very happy i did. I think it is much better than iPods. First off, it has a bigger screen and better interface IMO. Secondly, iPods sort your music by song artist which annoys the hell out of me. Zunes sort by album artist. I have 84 artists. My friend put all my music on his empty iPod (i downloded itunes to do it, and my computer started acting up right after, so i had to do a system restore...) and he had like 160 artists, because some songs feature other artists, and iPods make those collaborations separate artists. Another thing is you can have custom backgrounds. You can share music with other Zunes. You can connect to a wireless network and buy music via Marketplace. It's better for videos. They now have games, although i haven't looked into them much. If you want lossless format, just convert them to WMA LossLess. Works just fine (dbpoweramp is the program i use). Keep in mind i am comparing apples to apples, so i'm not talking about iPod touches, because those are much more expensive.

If i had to get another mp3 player, it would be another Zune.

ZUNE! It doesn't tell me that the .mp3 files are illegal, even though I ripped straight from the CD sitting on my shelf. Seriously, **** Apple and their BS iPods!

Pft, thought I'd go to the dark side and try a zune. It randomly broke on the FIRST day. Just stopped working, looked through the forums, common issue, zune randomly stops working. So I return it, breaks the same way in a month, just doesnt turn on. I finally got my replacement shipped back, sold it, got one of the new ipods, loving it.

The zune software sucked (a lot more than itunes). And now iTunes has the genius feature, which I use a lot, I hated spending time making playlists, but now with a click I can make a playlist depending on the mood im in.

Whoever said that zunes have amazing sound quality are just making it up. It's exactly the same as the ipod, just try using the same headphones.

If your choice is between a zune and an ipod, go for the ipod.

Zune?

No, but seriously, I have a couple friends who have them, and they're just "meh" about them. I had one other friend who sold his for an iPod.

I've owned my iPod for about 4 years now, and I love it.

Creative Zen's are good, too, from what the friends who own them tell me.
