Default Best 5.1 SS for under 250$?

Lets pretend I don't know squat about audio.

What's the best set of 5.1 speakers I can get for an HDTV and X-fi Platinum sound card. [that's what the average person uses 5.1 for] and that i don't use FLAC.

Everyone always gripes about how there's better set-ups for under 250$, I'd like to hear em.

You can get a Logitech Z-5500 for just that when you watch out for the specials. Good luck!

G51 from Logitech.

Without a doubt the best set of speakers I have ever owned and they are around 140$ online.

The base is tight, the speakers are squeelers (in a good way) and the 'console' makes everything very easy. Plugging in your headphones and mic are a breeze.

GET THEM!

Used set of Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1s off of ebay or something. Basically the best "PC" speaker setup you can get, rather than individual components.
